About Black Cat Genetic Testing
Hi y’all! My name is Mel and I run Black Cat Genetic Testing. I am a chicken tender, just like you. I am homesteader, just like you. But what I also am is a Ph.D. microbiologist who has a very long history of developing and performing genetic assays. I’ve done all sorts of these kinds of things since the late 90s and, yes, I am that old. I recently decided to put my molecular genetics background to use testing people’s animals (and plants) for various things like sex, eggshell colors, and recessive white genes. I’m mostly just getting started but what I wanted you to know is that when you send me your samples, they are in the hands of a real expert and I will treat your samples as well as I would treat my own.
